What do you think should be on the next Oppo Census? Got any suggestions for questions/answers? Post them in here! And if you’d like to “beta test”, let me know. Also, the census do-over will start sometime this month.

Just a thought if you do this in forms you should be able to allow the beta testers to make comments without them full on editing the form itself.

If recall on one of these surveys a couple of the car questions weren’t multiple choice? For instance should shifter location be filled in for each car?

Ah yes, now most questions allow you to pick more than one answer. People with multiple cars fill in multiple answers. This will be addressed at the very beginning.

I think it’s fine like that! I mean, if you really wanted to, you could put Agender and Other as options... Because it’s be impossible to be 100% inclusive without having a crazy long list.

Nah, to be serious, that map is a decent start, but ideally, you could just put the countries in there. The results will be more fragmented, but I don’t think a single Oppo identifies as Western European rather than French e.g.

Scandinavia

In any case, you’ll have to clearly state which countries are part of which region, as different sources give different divisions (e.g. CIA World Factbook vs. UN).

You can probably drop Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, as they’re sort-of part of the UK afaik.

Finland is missing from Scandinavia. Perhaps Iceland as well.

I’d call the Caucasus Western Asia already, and Kazakhstan Central Asia, but that’s from a Western European viewpoint, so the people there might think otherwise.

Oh, and if you’re listing Liechtenstein, you can have fun and throw Andorra, San Marino and Vatican City in there as well. :D
